the future of apple technology
by eli
Apple has made one new iPhone model every year since 2007. Creators from Apple are hopefully going to break their streak and create the iPhone 5s and maybe even the iPhone 6 this year. Analysts from The Wall Street Journal say 2013 is going to be different. iPhones will be taller and skinnier. They also may have a pro option with a slide out keypad.
There have been many prototypes posted on the internet that may be the style of the new iPhone 6 but nothing has been confirmed. The phone could be transparent, square with sharp edges, tall and skinny with multiple apps vertically and horizontally. One prototype has a rounded back to give the handler more comfort. The most likely design will have a similar look to the current model, but with a larger screen size and less edging. There will most likely be a bigger “home” button.
One feature Apple is hoping to create is a finger scan to get into your phone. You may be able to get a special feature that lights a keypad down on your table and you can type on your own table while it appears on your phone (see photo below). They are considering making a 3 gb phone which could cut the price in half and help make the phone faster. Steve Jobs had talked about making an iCar that would connect to all your apple devices. In the future there might be an iPhone mini, too (see photo below). Another device is a standard sized touch screen keyboard.
Apple is not only thinking about this for the iPhone but also for the new iPod touch, iPad, and iPods. Hopefully A pple will create new and advanced devices that make “doing” easier.

Instagram is a free photo sharing app that lets users take pictures and upload it for everyone to see. People can also "like" the picture or comment on it. (Comments can be deleted if it's your picture) Another thing that people like to do is the photo challenge. This is a calendar that you keep of your photos. Every day you take a picture of what is marked on your calendar. Instagram launched as an iPhone app in the Apple app store on October 6, 2010. The Android version received over 430 pre-registrations and when it finally released on April 3rd, 2012 it was downloaded over a million times in less than 12 hours. By December 2010, Instagram had one million registered users. By July 2011 Instagram users had shared over 100 million photos. Approximately 58 photos are being uploaded each second and Instagram gains 1 new user every second!
